Age Calculator

The age of a being can be counted abnormally in altered cultures. This calculator is based on the best accepted age system. In this system, age increases on a person's birthday. For example, the age of a being who has lived for 3 years and 11 months is 3, and their age will access to 4 on their abutting altogether one ages later. Best western countries use this age system.

In some cultures, age is expressed by counting years with or without the current year. For example, a person who is 20 years old is the same as a person who is 21 years old. In one traditional Chinese age system, people are born at the age of one and grow up on the traditional Lunar New Year instead of their birthday. For example, if born a day before the Lunar New Year, the baby will be 2 years old two days later, even if it is only 2 days.

In some situations, the month and day results of this age calculator can be confusing, especially if the start date is at the end of the month. For example, February 20 to March 20 counts as one month. However, there are two ways to calculate your age from February 28, 2022 to March 31, 2022. If a month is from 8 Bahman to 7 March, the result will be 1 month and 3 days. If we consider both Bahman 8 and March 10 as the end of the month, the result is one month. Both calculation results are valid. A similar situation exists for dates such as April 30 to May 31 and May 30 to June 30. This confusion occurs because each month has an unequal number of days. We use the previous method in our calculations.
